  14. I don't have all the specs yet but essentially here's the problem:

  16. A friend has a Mac and just got a Supra 28.8 modem.  He's just got an
  17. account
  18. and finds that he can connect but anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes into the
  19. connection
  20. it is abruptly lost (i.e. the modem hangs up).  There is no call waiting on
  21. his line.  Can
  22. NE1 suggest some places to look?  Init string?  New patches (flash
  23. upgrades) for Supra?  He's supposed to fax me his setup and such tomorrow
  24. but I just wanted to get the ball rolling.
  25. I don't know much about Macs myself but he says his modem plugs into his
  26. keyboard??
  27. Coming from the PC world, I guess suggesting IRQ or COM port conflicts
  28. wouldn't help him too much, eh? <g>  Anyway, I'm subscribed to this list
